Being in AK for a month was not enough! Bro and I headed to AR on Tuesday, the 9th to fish and mow! It was so hot and dry that wasn’t much need for mowing but the fishing was hot.
Jack was already in AR so we met him at the Norfork boat ramp below the dam at 6:30 on Wednesday morning. Hit the Shoal below the Long Hole and did fair. Moved down river and things heated up. The #20 zebra midge was the ticket for me. Jack got them on the P-Body and Bro the bugger.
Followed suit the next two days. Thursday was about the same and Friday turned up the heat! Consistent action throughout the afternoon.
The generation schedule was perfect. They were shutting down at midnight and starting back up at noon.
We hardly ever see any guides on the Fork these days but I am predicting that will change before too long!
