I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that we had an incredibly special birthday in the middle of our Nashville stay. Caroline turned 3 on December 8, and we threw her a memorable, if subdued, birthday party, right in the old RV!
We decorated the rig for Christmas, but the party lights made for a pretty festive birthday atmosphere as well. She got a build-it-yourself airplane, the CareBear she’s “always” wanted, and Lincoln Logs! That’s right. Lincoln Logs. In an RV. Obviously, I’ve done someone some wrong for which they have FULLY atoned.
And later, Caroline got to hang with the singer of her favorite version of Sweet Caroline!
