The first week of the 2013 journey was spent helping with (loving on) Rosemary and Caroline. (Bregitte is so good to put up with Pap.) We were waiting on Brent to get home from the Slope. Saturday the 3rd we celebrated Rosemary’s 4th birthday at the Reindeer farm outside of Palmer (Her birthday was Monday – Marmee and I remember being here for the big occasion. ). It was a blast as you can see!
Monday the 3rd we went tent camping in Talkeetna . We were checking out the river levels and they were high. Brent did get his first bow of the year at Christina Lake. It was great. We saw “him” cruising in the shallows and Brent put the “Hanks bugger (from AR)” right on him. I missed one earlier under a similar scenario. I did catch one of these Tuesday morning at the Roadhouse.
