Even though it may not look warm, to fish the Kenai this time of year and do well is rare, mostly because it is usually tough to stay out in the sub zero temperatures. These days, the temperature has been a mild 35-40 degrees. The wind keeps you down sometimes, but when its nice, its really nice. Both fish were taken on everybody’s favorite, the Pheasant Tail Nymph. The beasts can’t lay off of it!
